WARRANTY INFORMATION

All our products come with 1 year Manufacturer’s Warranty. The warranty covers the original purchaser for one year from the date of purchase.

EELO 1885 Disc Pro Electric Bike, is covered for 3 years manufacturer.

Battery – Battery can be replaced while there is more than 50% attenuation. (It is not applicable for any accidental or water damage)
Controller – Replaced only in Dysfunction condition (It is not applicable for any accidental or water damage)
Motor – Replaced only in Dysfunction condition (It is not applicable for any accidental or water damage)
Charger – Replaced only in Dysfunction condition (It is not applicable for any accidental or water
damage)

If the product has quality/functional problems after 15 days, please contact the manufacturer for help or contact us. We will help you contact the manufacturer.

  1. Repaired or replaced products are warranted for 3 months from the date of repair or replacement, or for the remainder of the original product’s warranty period, whichever is longer.
  2. Manufacturer may use rebuilt, reconditioned or new parts and components when repairing any product. Alternatively, we may replace the defective product entirely with a rebuilt or
    reconditioned product.
  3. Items that are under warranty and have encountered issues due to a manufacturing defect, customers may utilise the manufacturer’s service warranty.
  4. User negligence is not covered under the repair warranty.
  5. Under warranty repairs are free, parts are free and servicing is free within 6 months of purchase date excluding parts. 

The warranty does not cover any problems that are caused by weather conditions, malfunctions, or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship, unauthorised
modifications, commercial use, overload use, accident, electronic device water ingress and will be deemed as damage caused by human. These conditions may include, but are not limited to accidents, misuse, weather conditions or improper maintenance. Warranty does not include shipping and handling costs (which
under exceptional circumstances may be waived at Bicycle land’s sole discretion).

All ADO Ebikes are covered under our 1-year, all-inclusive manufacturer’s warranty for the owner against all manufacturing defects. (All free accessories are not covered by warranty service.)

Note:

Frame issues excluded from this warranty include but are not limited to:

1. Corrosion

2. Paint fade, scratches, and impact marks

3. Impact damage

4.  Non-reversible modification (such as drilling or welding)

5.  Chain guard mounted to the frame, if applicable

 

Battery non-warranty situation:

1.  Defects or damage resulting from accidents, abuse, misuse, abnormal use (including but not limited to stunt riding, racing, or other similar activities not consistent with the intended use of the Products), improper storage, abnormal exposure to liquid, chemical exposure, moisture, abrasives, sand or dirt, neglect, or abnormal physical, electricalor electromechanical stress;

2.  Defects or damage caused by private modification

3.  Scratches, dents, and cosmetic damage, unless caused by ADO Ebike;

4 . Products that have the serial number or bar-code removed, defaced, damaged, altered, or made illegible;

5.  Ordinary wear and tear;

6.  Defects or damage to the Products caused by the use of accessories, products, or   ancillary/peripheral equipment not furnished or approved by ADO Ebike for the Products;

7.  Defects or damage caused by the assembly, testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, repair, or adjustment of the Products in a manner that varies from the Assembly Instructions or Owner’s Manual;

8.  Defects or damage resulting from external causes such as collision, fire, flooding, windstorms, lightning, earthquakes, exposure to weather conditions, theft, blown fuses, or improper use of any electrical source.

 

This Limited Warranty Does Not Cover:

1. Parts compromised by corrosion due to exposure to the elements (moisture, heat, etc.);

2. Damage or deterioration of the surface finish, appearance, or aesthetics of the product;

3. The Warranty of the frame, forks, handlebar, seat post, saddle, brakes, lights, crank-set, pedals, rims, wheel hub, freewheel, cassette, derailleur, shifter, motor, throttle, controller, wiring harness, LCD, kickstand, reflectors, and hardware only extendsone week after receiving the goods. Parts damaged during use after seven days will be charged to the customer;

4. Labor charges for part replacement or changeover;

5. Defects or damage resulting from accidents, abuse, misuse, abnormal use (including but not limited to stunt riding, racing, or other similar activities not consistent with the intended use of the Products), improper storage, abnormal exposure to liquid, chemicals, moisture, abrasives, sand or dirt, neglect, or abnormal physical, electrical or electromechanical stress;

6. Scratches, dents, and cosmetic damage not caused by ADO Ebike;

7. Products with the serial number or bar-code removed, defaced, damaged, altered, or made illegible;

8. Defects or damage to the Products caused by the use of accessories, products, or ancillary/peripheral equipment not furnished or approved by ADO Ebike for the Products;

9. Defects or damage caused by improper assembly, testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, repair, or adjustment in a manner that varies from the Assembly Instructions or Owner’s Manual;

10. Defects or damage resulting from external causes, such as collision, fire, flooding, windstorms, lightning, earthquakes, exposure to weather conditions, theft, blown fuses, or improper use of any electrical source.

11. Ordinary wear and tear not resultingfrom defects in workmanship or materials. Wear and tear can be assessed by ADO Ebike. Parts not typically covered include but are not limited to:

You agree to all of the above by default when you place an order.

This warranty is provided by ADO from the date of purchase to the original owner only and is non-transferable.
in no event shall ado be liable for any direct, incidental or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, damages for personal injury, property damage or economic loss, whether based on contract, warranty, negligence, product liability or any other theory.

ADO makes no other warranties, expressed or implied. all implied warranties, including the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in time to the express warranties set forth above.

Warranty Terms & Conditions


Thank you for choosing a eelo bicycle. Your bicycle is the product of eelo’s extensive testing and
continuous striving for superior reliability, safety, and performance.
You can maintain maximum protection under these warranty terms by ensuring your bicycle is serviced
in accordance with the recommendations in the owner’s manual.


Please keep records of all maintenance carried out by your bike mechanic and please ensure you
take note of all the service records, repair or warranty work that is undertaken on your bicycle.
All new eelo bicycles are covered by a 3-year unlimited mileage warranty for the main frame against
manufacturer defects, commencing from the date of sale. Other parts on your bicycle (crank arms,
brake calipers, mudguards, battery, bike computer, light etc.) are covered with 2 years manufacturer
warranty.


Please ensure that you keep your sales invoice in a safe place for future reference.
Within these warranty periods, eelo warrants the new bicycle to be free from any defect in materials
used in the manufacture, and/or workmanship at the time of its manufacture.
• Any part found to be defective during this period will be repaired or replaced by the factory;
• Any part replaced under the warranty terms will be covered for the remaining period of the
warranty of the bike;
• Any parts replaced under warranty must be returned to eelo by the distributor and will
become the property of eelo;
• eelo may, at its discretion, make repairs or replacement of defective parts falling outside
the warranty period, but such work shall not be deemed to be any admission of liability
• eelo will bear the labour charges for work carried out under warranty;
• The warranty may be transferred to subsequent owners for the balance of the remaining
period, but only if all service maintenance records are transferred to the new owner;
Conditions and Exclusions:
1. The first service should be carried out after approximately 100 miles/160 kilometers.
This service, is useful to discover problems which only reveal themselves with some use,
and to ensure the long-term smooth operation of the bicycle.
2. Routine replacements: components on the bike that will need to be replaced under routine
maintenance and service of the bike. These guidelines must be followed, particularly taking into
account the mileage that the bike covers, as this will affect the function of many components
e.g. brake cables, chain, sprockets etc. The mileage and usage will also affect the expected life
of aluminum components, which should be replaced every 2000 miles of use (or sooner if
particularly hard/heavy use) and do not, therefore, come within the warranty terms for the bike,
detailed above.

The bike must not have been used for unauthorized competition, misused*, inadequately
maintained, or incorrectly serviced or maintained.
4. The bike must not have been subject to any modification, repair or replacement other than as
authorized by eelo.
5. Defects caused by the use of parts and accessories not authorized by eelo are not covered by
this warranty.
6. The warranty does not cover the cost of removal and replacement of parts and accessories,
unless supplied as original equipment, or recommended by eelo .
7. Components which are expected to wear as part of their normal function, such as tyres, bulbs,
chains, sprockets, brake pads etc. are excluded from the terms of this warranty, unless there is
a manufacturing defect in the part.
8. Other items excluded from warranty are the saddle, luggage, paint, chrome, polished
aluminum items, or decal where deterioration has been caused by normal wear and tear,
exposure or lack of correct maintenance.
9. The warranty does not cover bikes used on a commercial basis, e.g. by couriers or despatch
riders, etc.
10. The warranty does not cover defects which have not been reported within ten days of
discovery of the defect.
11. Your bicycle will require more frequent servicing if operated in severe climates or conditions,
such as a marine environment or heavily salt-treated roads; in deep snow (above half axle
height); in very dusty/sandy terrain. Such environments will potentially cause premature failure
of finishes to the frame and components, and such deterioration is excluded from these
warranty terms.
eelo has taken great care in the selection of materials, plating and painting techniques so as
to provide its customers with a quality cosmetic appearance allied to durability.
However, where your bicycle is often used in hostile environmental conditions such as those
indicated, it is essential that the bicycle is washed, dried and that lost lubrication is replaced
to ensure your bike remains in the best condition.
Ultimately, the appearance of your bicycle will very much depend on the care it receives.
12. Should a warranty claim become necessary, eelo shall not be liable for the cost of transportation
of the bicycle to the factory, or for expenses incurred while the bicycle is off the road, including
costs associated with loss of use, inconvenience, lost time, commercial losses or other incidental
or consequential damages.
This warranty shall be interpreted in accordance with English law and any question arising from this
warranty shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.


Any statement, condition, representation, description or warranty otherwise contained in any
catalogue, advertisement or other publication shall not be construed as enlarging, varying or overriding
anything contained herein.
eelo reserves the right to make alterations or improvements, without notification, to any model or
machine, without obligation to do so to bicycles already sold.
This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.

* Misuse includes any use not in accordance with the recommendations made in the owner’s manual,
and any use contrary to the warnings given in that same handbook. In addition, misuse will include,
but not be limited to, any use of the bicycle which does not constitute normal road use, as your eelo is
intended for use on roads and well-made paths. It is not designed for cross country riding, which can
overstress the frame and for which the tyres and wheels are unsuitable.

How To Activate Your Warranty

To activate your warranty please send the Bike Frame Code and picture of the Motor Code to warranty@bicycleland.co.uk within 5 days of receiving your item. Once you send the information, there is nothing else you need to do. Please ensure all information you send is correct. Please do not reply to this email address, this is a no-reply email address.
